DIRTYBIRD Releases Will Clarke’s Debut EP ‘The Boogie Woogie’

•March 18, 2015 • Leave a Comment

Will Clarke

After making a highly-coveted Dirtybird debut on DIRTYBIRD 10 alongside veteran Dirtybird Players, Bristol’s own Will Clarke is back with his first single on the label, The Boogie Woogie.

Will Clarke delivers a refined sound that marries the bassed-out beats of Bristol with the tasteful house of Ibiza that results in your head nodding along well beyond your control.

Starting things off strong, ‘The Boogie Woogie’ is a bonafide bouncy groover filled with bit crushed sounds and accentuated by zany vocal samples that will have you doing just as the title suggests. A driving beat punctuated by pristine tambourine hits and claps, coupled with just the right amount of wonky wobbles make this one a sure shot energy boost for those on the dance floor.

The Goog starts off with a theme that echoes throughout the entire track: “All I wanna do is party.” An irresistible catchy track showcasing escalating toms, whistles, and echoey samples will have dance floor denizens bouncing around like a out-of-control pinball.

Spring time brings about renewal and growth, and Will Clarke delivers the fresh sounds that pairs perfectly. Expect to hear a lot of him on dance floors everywhere this year and beyond!

Diddy, Scuba, Jonas Rathsman, Gorgon City themselves, and many more.

The compilation will be released on March 22, 2015, a handful of days prior to Pete taking the stage at the Surfcomber.

Amine Edge & DANCE Bring CUFF Showcase

to Miami Music Week

Thursday March 26 at Nikki Beach

Tickets Now Available:

Having already established their brand of hip-hop leaning “G-House” as a reputable genre in its own right, trailblazing duo Amine Edge & DANCE will now bring their CUFF label imprint to this year’s Miami MMW schedule on March 26th. Welcoming a host of acclaimed DJs to the iconic Nikki Beach, the showcase follows a string of global residencies and club nights for CUFF – with notable bookings in the UK, Paris, Ibiza and Brazil – and also counts as one of an impressive nine gigs for the pair at the 2015 conference.

With the boys set to play alongside the inimitable A-Trak, as well as legendary Chicago house producer Felix Da Housecat and Craze, CUFF’s showcase will also feature a special guest appearance from rap pioneer Uncle Luke, formerly of 2 Live Crew. Label regular Mike Palladino and up and coming artist MAXIMONO will also be on hand to wrap up what represents a fitting showcase of Amine Edge & DANCE’s pioneering take on house music.
After the success of “Going To Heaven With Goodie Goodies” and follow ups “Bitches in The Project” and “Halfway Crooks” – along with a slew of releases on the way via Ultra and One More Tune – Amine Edge & DANCE launched CUFF in 2014 as a home for their G-House movement. With key releases from French producer STUFF, elusive hit-maker Sirus Hood and London-based producer SION, even in its infancy CUFF has already made a significant impact on the electronic music landscape.

NiCe7 3-20-15

New York, NY – Friday, March 20th, 2015 –

Biohazard Promotions presents another exuberant extravaganza featuring international Italian artists NiCe7 along with the one and only Zenbi.  The last time and first time NiCe7 was in New York they rocked Slake for a provocative affair that was heavily focused on the aesthetics in addition to their diversified sound. NiCe7 will fly overseas to the big apple following their European tour that included places such as their home country of Italy as well as France and Scotland. Steadily working on their D-Floor label along with Pirupa and Leon, NiCe7 has had a busy year already. Starting off 2015 in Australia on the bill for the Defected In The House party, NiCe7 then went on to host their own D-Floor showcase with label mates Pirupa and Leon at The 2015 BPM Festival which was a sold out show!

Zenbi who also has had an incredible year so far will accompany NiCe7 to complement their funky and groovy melodies. Christopher Porter aka Zenbi might as well call New York his 2nd home having been featured on the bill every month for the past couple years, his sets are always fun and energetic and truly set the right vibe for the dancefloor. The last time Zenbi donned the decks was also at Slake along with Anthony Attalla and Nathan Barato making for a marvelous event. Always good times when Zenbi comes to town!
